Know the battle objective
Identify whether the encounter requires survival, defense, clearing a target or protecting a route. Build the squad and supplies around that condition.
Carry a bounded supply kit
Bring enough healing and combat items for the intended encounter plus a small reserve. Consuming the whole production stock in one attempt can block unrelated progression.
Match perks to roles
Use damage, defense, health and movement perks where their effect supports the assigned role. A high-value perk on the wrong unit can add less than a modest matched perk.
Review the failure
After a loss, identify the first decisive failure: supply, positioning, damage, defense or objective misunderstanding. Change that factor before repeating.
